Pricing questions
What's a "client widget"?
Each customize link you create for a client counts as one client widget. Templates are unlimited on both plans — the cap is on how many distinct customized instances you can have at once.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes, anytime. Upgrade in the dashboard via Stripe Checkout. The badge on your existing widgets disappears immediately on the next embed load.
What happens if I cancel?
You stay on Creator until the end of your billing period, then drop back to Free. Your widgets keep working; the "Made with WebDYI" badge returns, and if you have more than 5 client widgets you can keep them — you just can't create new ones until you delete some or upgrade again.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Free is free forever — no card required. Stripe handles billing only when you upgrade to Creator.
Do my clients need an account?
No. Clients edit via a secret link you send them — no signup required for text, color, or block edits. Sign-in is only prompted if they want to upload an image or video (storage is on your plan's quota).
Is there a team plan?
Not yet. If you need multiple developer seats on one account, drop us a line via Contact and tell us what you'd need.
